This is a poem I wrote for my Aunty Daph on the death of her brother Teddy:
Brother
Mine,
You
lived life well,
All
who know you,
Have
tales to tell.
You
enriched my life,
All
you were is treasure to me,
My
memories are full,
Better
than any camera, they are you see.
Today
I mourn my loss of you,
In
quiet solitude.
We are
children again,
Thank
you brother, goodbye dear one,
Until
we meet and then...
Through
fields we will run free of old age,
Laughing,
smiling hand in hand,
As
young as my memories are now of you.
